A varied offer - art and culture are connected to Tuttlingen With its diverse offerings, Tuttlingen is a cultural center of the region. Almost 100 events, from classical concerts to theater to entertainment shows, can be found in the town hall every season. The Tuttlinger Hallen team also organizes several events that give the city a special profile: cabaret - from comedy to magic - is at home on the “Bühne im Anger” in the Möhringen district, where the highly endowed and nationally known cabaret award “Tuttlinger Krähe” is awarded annually. The NachtKulTour takes visitors on a cultural walk through the city center every two years and the “historicus mercatus” brings the Middle Ages to life in Tuttlingen. The most popular festivals in the southwest include not only the Southside with its over 60,000 visitors, but also the Honberg Summer in the castle ruins on Tuttlingen‘s local mountain, one of the highlights in the annual cultural calendar. Here national and international stars and exciting newcomers from rock/pop to variety show take to the stage in the circus tent. On top of that, the festival attracts visitors over two and a half weeks with one of the most beautiful beer gardens far and wide. The Tuttlingen City Gallery is another podium for general trends in contemporary art, both for artists from the region and as a showcase. In addition, the historical and cultural roots of the city and the region come to life in the museums of the city of Tuttlingen. The “Tuttlinger Haus”, built after the town fire of 1803, shows Tuttlingen‘s town history using the example of the previous house residents. 263
